Aluminum looks unappetising very quickly because of abrasion. Cutlery: Army, basic, is all you need.   Thermarest and a good sleeping bag are standard, then you can sleep everywhere. I like synthetic fibre better than down feather, because sometimes it is raining for days and if down feather is wet once… therefor synthitic fibre is heavier, a question of philosophy again.
